Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

53歲女星陳孝萱曾和知名製作人詹仁雄有過一段2年婚姻，雙方已分開17年，兒子「鐵弟」目前在英國念高三，近年她回歸演員身分，在台劇「我的意外室友」中華麗登場。
劇中，陳孝萱與姚淳耀扮演母子，她卻是個周遊列國、不願被孩子綁住的媽，現實中，她和兒子親子關係親密，兒子在英國留學，每天會打電話報日常，只要學校放長假，也會回台陪媽媽，未來想朝建築設計方面發展，對演藝圈也沒有興趣，陳孝萱說，兒子小時候就是這樣，母子間無話不談，搭計程車時，兒子一上車就嘰哩呱啦講一串，連司機都在她下車前說：「都不會無聊喔」讚鐵弟是個懂分享的孩子。
說起劇中扮演熱愛自由的媽，陳孝萱坦言：「很羨慕，但我做不到。」她透露，兒子出生後也曾試著繼續拍戲，當時劇組也十分體諒，盡量讓她不外宿，但某次她早一點收工，回到家就看到兒子坐在門口哭著要媽媽抱抱，孩子生病時，也因拍戲無法抽身照顧而感到內疚，於是下定決心減少戲劇工作。
直到這幾年兒子出國留學，陳孝萱多了自己的時間，才陸續接戲，問到戀情，她笑：「我覺得沒有人想要知道一個半百女星的感情事吧，這對讀者來說，應該沒興趣。」如今心思只想認真工作。
