Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

第59屆電視金鐘獎頒獎典禮將於10月18、19日在台北流行音樂中心連辦2天，昨舉辦星光大道主持人公布記者會，4位主持人黃豪平、木木(林葦妮)、楊小黎與侯彥西出席，很巧的是木木和侯彥西同一天生日，生日都在8月8日，兩人順勢在記者會中慶生，木木開心表示每年許願都希望能夠走向金鐘殿堂，沒想到今年竟提早完成生日願望，可惜的是她本來預計記者會後跟外公報告好消息，但老人家卻在她拍金鐘主視覺照的前一天過世，讓她悲喜交加。
黃豪平是第5次主持星光大道，他自嘲已經快要江郎才盡了，好在這次搭檔是木木，兩人應該會蹦出新的火花，他也努力在想這一屆的哏：「就等入圍名單出來，再來多想一下！」而他認為兩人的默契培養就是常見面，木木也表示之前就有上過黃豪平的課程，而且自己從小就是電視兒童，所以大部分重量級前輩都認識。
侯彥西曾主持過台北電影節，但對金鐘獎則是同一次，這次和連續3屆金鐘紅毯主持的楊小黎搭檔讓他很安心，楊小黎也笑說，這次金鐘獎終於安排了一位帥哥給她，楊小黎表示其實三次搭配的主持人跟自己氣場都很合，因此很快就進入狀況。而對首次主持金鐘獎星光大道，侯彥西不在乎負評，唯一怕的是自己腦子突然空白，叫錯名字，笑說：「越熟越容易叫錯。」
