《奧術》難回本！ Riot創辦人：勿以短期、利益評價《奧術》成功與否
《英雄聯盟》的衍伸動畫影集《奧術》，2季總計投入超過2.5億美元（約 75 億新台幣），雖然在Netflix上獲得大眾好評，但最後卻未能為Riot Games帶來足夠的收益，以支撐投入的製作與行銷成本。
根據彭博社報導，Netflix與騰訊各為每集付出了300萬美元，但這筆資金甚至不到2.5億美元的一半，因此《奧術》並沒有回本。彭博社認為，過去《奧術》第一季成功時，就應該趁勢在第二季露出前，推出一些《奧術》相關的周邊商品。
Horn antenna而後Riot的聯合創辦人Marc Merrill便在Reddit上回應了該則新聞，他表示，某些以短期、交易性、憤世嫉俗的視角來看待事物的人，難以理解Riot的想法，例如不少玩家會認為，Riot製作《奧術》的終極目標是為了賣更多造型，但事實卻是相反，真正原因是為了製作像《奧術》一樣的高品質作品，因此不能以短期且具交易性的眼光看待Riot的整體規劃。
