Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

民視、八大「綜藝新時代」日前到雲林口湖鄉錄影，體驗烏魚子職人的工作，這裡目前也是全台最大的烏魚子產地。一開場籃籃直說自己是新埔林依晨、阿翔說自己是松山郭富城、正當楊繡惠說自己是三重楊丞琳時，場外的製作人忍不住噗了一聲，楊繡惠氣問製作人：「你噗什麼！」大家才直說楊繡惠比較像楊紫瓊啦，像楊丞琳有點差太多。
大家來到新榮製冰與製冰達人曾家祐見面，嘗試全台首創的烏魚子冰淇淋，主持人搶成一團，阿翔和楊繡惠都還沒講完口感，杯中的烏魚子片就被籃籃拿去吃掉，阿翔瞪大眼說你急什麼？籃籃直白說「等你們講完口感也就都吃完了，那我吃什麼」？真實回答讓大家又好氣又好笑。
接下來達人帶大家體驗製作漁業用冰的工作，到了現場從未看過製冰過程的眾人是大開眼界。而籃籃用手拖120公斤的大冰塊，大喊要找人幫忙時，猛見到黃明志在現場，馬上向前請他來幫忙，大家哼著「飄向北方」和「飆高音」只見對方一直笑場無法接話，原來這位是在製冰廠工作的外國朋友。
