曾在《狐妖小紅娘》飾演「牧童」的中國男星王星（星星），4日抵達泰國曼谷準備要前往新劇開機儀式，卻在泰緬邊境失聯，女友急報警並向中國駐泰國大使館求助，也在微博發文希望大家幫忙分享協尋，7日泰國電視台7台新聞報導指出，已確認王星人在緬甸。
泰國電視台7台新聞報導指出，泰國警方已組織一個專門調查小組來尋找王星，警方根據參與將王星送到緬甸的目擊者指出，從曼谷素萬那普機場將人載到湄索縣，緬甸那邊有人開車來到湄索接走王星，泰國將會與緬甸方協調要求將王星送回泰國，至於王星是被綁架，還自願入境緬甸，將會等找到人後再進一步釐清。
王星的女友前往泰國曼谷尋求協助，7日凌晨在微博發文透露進度，已在中國駐泰國大使館專人的協助下，先前往素萬那普機場警署報案，完成備案手續後，泰國警方對於案件的走向持積極態度。
