Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

國家太空中心立方衛星「旺來」成功取像三大任務驗證成功

國家太空中心(TASA)自主研發的6U立方衛星「旺來衛星(ONGLAISAT)」入軌後經過近三個月的操作,三大技術驗證任務:Korsch離軸光學系統、CMOS TDI(Time Delay and Integration) 影像感測器、在軌JPEG2000影像壓縮技術皆驗證成功,任務達成率100%,相關技術未來可望應用在更大型的任務衛星。
6U尺寸的旺來衛星,是TASA與日本東京大學航太系ISSL實驗室、ArkEdge Space、Space BD國際合作計畫。由TASA製作新一代Korsch光學遙測酬載,搭配日本東京大學的高指向精度6U立方衛星平台,任務目標為驗證新型光學酬載設計製造與影像處理相關技術。
旺來衛星去(2024)年11月5日於美國發射升空,12月9日由國際太空站(ISS)彈射入軌進入410公里的低地球軌道,入軌隔日即收到衛星健康資料。確認衛星本體操作無虞後,即開始酬載驗證任務。經過近三個月的測試,旺來衛星已完成50次取像,並成功下載、解析,達成設定的酬載驗證目標。
