Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

國家太空中心立方衛星「旺來」成功取像三大任務驗證成功
國家太空中心（TASA）自主研發的6U立方衛星「旺來衛星（ONGLAISAT）」入軌後經過近三個月的操作，三大技術驗證任務：Korsch離軸光學系統、CMOS TDI（Time Delay and Integration） 影像感測器、在軌JPEG2000影像壓縮技術皆驗證成功，任務達成率100％，相關技術未來可望應用在更大型的任務衛星。
6U尺寸的旺來衛星，是TASA與日本東京大學航太系ISSL實驗室、ArkEdge Space、Space BD國際合作計畫。由TASA製作新一代Korsch光學遙測酬載，搭配日本東京大學的高指向精度6U立方衛星平台，任務目標為驗證新型光學酬載設計製造與影像處理相關技術。
旺來衛星去（2024）年11月5日於美國發射升空，12月9日由國際太空站（ISS）彈射入軌進入410公里的低地球軌道，入軌隔日即收到衛星健康資料。確認衛星本體操作無虞後，即開始酬載驗證任務。經過近三個月的測試，旺來衛星已完成50次取像，並成功下載、解析，達成設定的酬載驗證目標。
